Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Kaal account and all associated data at any time, either inside the app or by request.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
Open Kaal and go to Profile → Edit profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and your synced data.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you can’t access the app, email r.official@jumbarthi.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Kaal can be used fully offline with no account. If you never signed in,
no data leaves your device — uninstalling the app removes everything locally.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (email, display name).
- All synced content: tasks, habits, goals, notes, calendar entries and focus history.
- Connected-account tokens (e.g. Google) and app preferences.
What may be retained
- Local device data is removed when you uninstall the app or delete your account in-app.
- We do not store your payment details — purchases are handled by Apple App Store / Google Play.
- Limited records may be kept only where required by law (e.g. tax/transaction records), and anonymized backups are purged on our normal rotation. All personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
